The program runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Tommy Douglas Centre. Our performing arts program works in association with, the same day, Signal Hill Arts Centre's visual arts programs.

Our program utilizes professional methods in developing dynamic youth expression.

It begins with voice and movement exercises, then moves to listening and communication skills.

RESULTS--talent discovery, dynamic expression, self-esteen growth, confidence-building, creative problem-solving, personal growth and respect.

All this will be accomplished in an entertaining and secure, creative environment. While learning these valuable performance life skills the students will apply their skills by rehearsing a mainstage theatre production, in which they will be performing ensemble roles and be sharing the stage with seasoned community performers in a classic live production being performed August 3-7 at the Tommy Douglas Performing Arts Centre.

Professional theatre training instruction for kids will develop basic skills in voice, movement, script study, theatre etiquette, costuming, make-up, stage properties, lighting, sound and acting technique.
